As Belize becomes increasingly urbanised, the concept of a "smart city" has emerged once again as a way to use technology to improve the quality of life for residents, promote sustainability, and enhance economic development. It is ample time Belize leverages data and technology to optimize urban services and infrastructure, making its cities, towns, and villages more efficient, resilient, and responsive to the needs of their citizens.

Belize has one of the smallest carbon footprints compared to the rest of the world. Adding to the low carbon footprint, Belize fully implemented a law that bans single use plastics. These are examples that other countries should also follow. To further assist Belize, we aim in producing innovative technology and application.
